TOMORROW X TOGETHER has reached new career highs in Japan with their fifth Japanese single.

According to Oricon on August 26, the single's title track "Setsuna Hanabi" ranked No. 1 on the latest Weekly Digital Single Ranking for the tracking period of August 17–23 marking TXT's first time topping the chart. The track recorded 8,410 downloads during its first week, significantly surpassing their previous high of 5,682 first-week downloads set by "We'll Never Change," the title track of their Japanese single "CHIKAI."

TXT also placed near the top of several other Oricon rankings during the same tracking period, reaching No. 2 on both the Weekly Combined Singles Ranking and Weekly Singles Ranking, as well as No. 6 on the Weekly Streaming Ranking.

"Setsuna Hanabi" also achieved a new milestone on Billboard Japan. The track topped the latest Hot 100 for the tracking period of August 17–23, marking TXT's first No. 1 on the chart. It additionally took the top spot on the Hot Shot Songs and Download Songs charts, while ranking No. 2 on Top Singles Sales and No. 22 on Streaming Songs.

"Setsuna Hanabi" compares the inevitability of parting with fireworks illuminating a midsummer night as they approach their end. Its raw sonic texture is paired with the five members' delicate emotional delivery, further emphasizing the bittersweet atmosphere of the song.

Attention is also turning toward B-side "Silence," which has been selected as the theme song for the upcoming Japanese film "Okiharu-kun no Namida wo Koroshite," set to premiere on October 2. Based on Mio Nukaga's novel of the same name, the film follows the story of a music teacher diagnosed with a terminal illness and a high school student who has lost the ability to feel emotions.

TXT have continued to expand their activities in Japan alongside the new release. The group performed for approximately 6,000 fans at a premium live event at Tokyo Garden Theater on August 19. They are also scheduled to appear on TV Asahi's "Music Station" on August 28, NHK's "Venue101" on August 29 and TBS' "CDTV Live! Live!" on August 31.

Meanwhile, TXT recently received The Best International Group of the Year – Male award at the "2026 TMElive International Music Awards" held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on August 22. The five members performed a six-song set during the ceremony, including "Stick With You," the title track from their eighth mini album.
