WAYF BOYS Drops "SWAG" Just Three Weeks After Debut
WAYF BOYS has made a quick return with their newest single "SWAG," just three weeks after the group's official debut.
Made up of Anderson, Andrew, Ryan, Junmyeong and Samuel, released "SWAG" across streaming platforms on August 28 at 1 p.m. KST, or midnight ET. The track follows debut single "WAYF BOYS DO," which was released on August 7.
"SWAG" centers on the five members' individual interpretations of confidence and personal style, pairing a free-spirited attitude with high-energy production. Rather than presenting a heavily polished image, the release places greater emphasis on the members' individual personalities and the group's developing identity.
The "SWAG" music video was developed through a DIY production process, with major elements including planning, styling and filming handled internally by WAYF. The members also participated in the production process, contributing their own ideas to the image and atmosphere of the video.
The approach continues a strategy WAYF BOYS began before officially debuting. The members were initially introduced through illustrated characters before their faces were revealed, while the group has continued to use less conventional social media content as part of its rollout.
"SWAG" is also WAYF BOYS' first new release since announcing a partnership with Interscope Records shortly after its debut.
The song had already been introduced to audiences before its official release. WAYF BOYS performed "SWAG" at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026, giving fans their first preview of the track onstage.
While "WAYF BOYS DO" served as an introduction to the group and its overall direction, "SWAG" places a stronger focus on the five members' confidence, style and individual personalities as WAYF BOYS continues to establish its identity following its debut.
