fromis_9's Park Ji-won Reveals She Had No Income for 7 Years on 'Knowing Bros'

fromis_9 member Park Ji-won is set to reveal that she went seven years without earning income. The confession airs on the JTBC variety show "Knowing Bros" on Friday at 9 p.m. KST.

The episode features comedian Ji Sang-ryeol, magician Lee Eun-gyeol, Park Ji-won of fromis_9, and Tsuki of Billlie as guests.

Ji Sang-ryeol shares an update on his relationship with Shin Bo-ram, who is 16 years younger. "People have been telling me lately that my face is glowing, and it's because I got the 'Botox of love,'" he says.

Lee Eun-gyeol announces that he will perform at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, the same venue where David Copperfield once staged a show, to mark his 30th anniversary in magic. He performs several tricks that impress the hosts. He also recalls his time on the variety show "Star King," when he tried to perform magic with a real lion. He reveals the unexpected stand-in that safety concerns forced him to use instead.

Park Ji-won shows the confidence of a seasoned variety performer. "I'm the variety go-to in fromis_9, but I was hurt that the other members didn't call me in for the specials they appeared on," she says. She then opens up about a difficult stretch of her career. "I had almost no income for about seven years. I lived on allowance from my mom," she says.

Tsuki shares her experience of finishing a full marathon. "I was the first female idol to complete a full marathon. I cried, and one of my toenails came off in the middle of it, so I bled a lot," she says. She also reveals that the Billlie "WORK" challenge video she filmed with Kang Ho-dong received more shares than likes.
