NCT Leader Taeyong has reassured fans about his current condition after falling ill, saying he has made a significant recovery and is already looking forward to returning to the stage.

On August 31, Taeyong shared an update with fans through the paid platform Bubble, revealing that he had spent a lot of the past three days recovering. "I only just opened my eyes. I have no memory of the past three days," he said. "I think I've gotten a lot better. It's all thanks to Czennies."

The singer and rapper also added that he plans to visit the hospital once more for a check up but expects it to be his final visit related to his current condition. Having to pull out in the middle of NCT 127's "Blingy" promotions, he thanked fans for their concern and apologized for worrying them by adding, "I already miss performing so much."

Taeyong explained that his condition had improved considerably in just one day after experiencing heavy sweating until the previous day. Reassuring fans, he said, "You don't have to worry about me anymore," and joked that "even the virus couldn't beat me."

Despite still being in recovery, Taeyong repeatedly expressed his eagerness to return to performing. Reflecting on his approach to the stage, he said that although years of experience could allow him to conserve more energy, he still finds himself wanting to give everything whenever he performs in front of fans.

"I could take it a little easier, but I've built up all this experience, so I should be able to use that experience to compensate for things like this," he said. "But whenever I stand in front of you all, I just want to give all of my energy."

He also apologized for becoming sick during what he described as an important period, mentioning "Blingy" and "Piñata" as he promised to recover quickly. "Czennies have been cheering me on so hard, but here I am, just lying in bed," he said. "I'll get back up soon and show you what I can do."

Taeyong concluded by emphasizing his determination to continue working alongside his members and staff once he has recovered, saying, "It's all or nothing. I'll rest only after I've worked myself to the bone with our members and staff until everyone is satisfied. Then I'll rest."

Czennies, (NCT Fans) have left a lot of encouraging messages for Taeyong on social media, one X user noted "Taeyong, you do not have to prove anything to anyone. We all know how much you love peforming, but your health comes first always. You deserve to give your body and soul the time they need to heal."

While many others continue to emphasize that while they are happy and grateful for the group's return, what utmost matters is the health and safety of all members.
