Lee Min-jung Loses Family in Crowd on China Golf Trip: "It Took 10 Years Off My Life"

Actress Lee Min-jung hit a rough patch during a family vacation in China when her family became separated in a packed street. She shared the moment in a new YouTube vlog featuring her parents, her in-laws, and her kids.

The video, titled "A Filial Golf Trip With Both Sets of Parents," went up on her YouTube channel on the Sept. 1. In it, Lee Min-jung and her family travel to Dalian, China.

After a round of golf and dinner, the group stepped outside to find the streets packed with people. "There are just too many people," Lee Min-jung said. "Nothing goes to plan, as usual." She had hoped to ride a gondola with her daughter, Seo-i, but the toddler had fallen asleep. "And now the family is scattered in this huge crowd. This is a real problem," she said.

"One person is standing still, one person went to look for the others. It's a whole mess right now," she explained. She called out for her son in the crowd, growing more frustrated by the minute. When she finally found everyone, the relief was clear. "That honestly took 10 years off my life. I was so shocked I almost went home, but I said, we came all this way and even got lost on the street, so let's just ride it. So here we are."

The family made it to Dongfang Shuicheng, often called the "Venice of Asia", and boarded a gondola. Lee Min-jung admired the scenery but couldn't hide her exhaustion. "It's Venice, sure, but why do I keep sighing?" she said.
