ZEROBASEONE's Sung Hanbin Sets Solo Debut for October
Sung Hanbin of ZEROBASEONE will make his solo debut on Oct. 12, marking his first music release under his own name since entering the industry three years ago.
His agency, The Live Label, announced the date on Sept. 7 and said preparations for the release are underway. Further details, including the album title and tracklist, have not yet been revealed.
Sung first gained attention as a contestant on Mnet's "Boys Planet," where he finished second before debuting with ZEROBASEONE in 2023. As the group's leader, he has taken on a central role in its performances while continuing to develop his vocal and dance work.
The solo announcement comes as ZEROBASEONE continues its group activities. The group released its sixth EP, "Ascend-," earlier this year, followed by its second Japanese EP, which topped Oricon's Weekly Albums Ranking.
Outside music, Sung has also expanded into television and other projects. He currently hosts Mnet's "Street World Fighter: Directors' War" and was selected as KCON's first global ambassador earlier this year.
The Oct. 12 release will offer the first look at the musical direction Sung intends to pursue as a solo artist.
