NCT WISH Earns Double Platinum Certification in Japan

NCT WISH has earned its first Double Platinum certification in Japan with its latest single, "YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL."

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on Sept. 10, the single surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments as of August. The milestone comes just one month after the release received a Platinum certification for exceeding 250,000 shipments.

Released July 15, "YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL" has now set a new career high for NCT WISH in Japan.

The group will continue its activities in the country later this month, appearing at "Rakuten GirlsAward 2026 AUTUMN/WINTER" at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on Sept. 26. The performance will mark NCT WISH's first appearance at the fashion and music event in two years, following its debut at the festival in 2024.

NCT WISH is also preparing for its next Korean comeback. The group is currently working toward the release of its fourth EP in October, with further details expected to be announced at a later date.
