RIIZE's third Japanese single, "Sunburst," has earned a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

According to the RIAJ on Sept. 10, the single surpassed 250,000 cumulative shipments in August, the same month it was released. Its shipments have since exceeded 350,000 as of September, according to the group's local distributor.

Released Aug. 26, "Sunburst" features three tracks led by the house-based title song of the same name. The single also includes "Rise Over," the theme song for Japan's 2026 Winter Cup high school basketball tournament, and "KILL SHOT," which serves as the ending theme for TV anime "Kill Blue."

RIIZE marked the release with a showcase in Osaka, performing "Sunburst" for around 1,000 attendees and discussing the making of its music video.

The group has also supported the release with several promotions across Japan, including a collaboration with karaoke chain JOYSOUND and a campaign across six train lines. Season two of Fuji TV's "RIIZE VACATION" is also currently airing, with new episodes released every other Friday.
