K-POP boy group BOYNEXTDOOR is gearing up for their comeback with a new twist. The group has enlisted actor Yoon Kyung-ho for a mockumentary tied to its upcoming repackage album, "HOME: DELUXE."

BOYNEXTDOOR, made up of members Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, released a teaser for its "Special Report" on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel on the 11th at 10 p.m. KST. The clip is presented as a fictional documentary that incorporates the concept of the new album.

The teaser sets up a peculiar premise: people who believe they are animals rather than humans. The idea ties directly to the album's title track, "ANIMAL." A pinboard covered in case files shows photos of the members lined up next to images of ants, penguins, pigeons, and owls. Cryptic notes add to the mystery, with lines like "physical reactions during interviews require observation" and "does he still identify as a penguin when the suit comes off?"

The teaser also features a surprise appearance. Actor Yoon Kyung-ho appears as an expert in modern human zoology, adding an unexpected layer of humor. He observes the members and other people behaving strangely, digging into the odd phenomena around them. The documentary-style direction and unpredictable story build anticipation for the full video, set to drop on Sept.12 at 10 p.m. KST.

"HOME: DELUXE," which will be released on Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. KST, is an expanded version of the group's first full-length album, released this past June. Where the original album gave an honest look at the emotions the group faced during its busy schedule since debut, the repackage builds on that journey and reflects the members' drive to reach a wider audience.

The repackage features14 tracks in total. Along with the nine songs from the first full album, it adds two new tracks, "ANIMAL" and "Cliché," two previously released songs, "Count To Love (Korean Ver.)" and "Boom Boom Boom," and the group's first fan song, "Dream of 400 Years," which was originally released on YouTube. The title track "ANIMAL" embodies the spirit of a group determined to keep outdoing itself. Members Myung Jaehyun, TAESAN, and Woonhak took part in writing the song.

From Oct. 14 through the 16, BOYNEXTDOOR will release concept photos and films in three versions, "HAZE," "OVERDRIVE," and "SPARK," giving fans a closer look at the visuals of the new release.
