Stray Kids' Felix Marks Birthday With 300 Million Won Donation to Hospitals, Charities
Stray Kids member Felix has donated a total of 300 million won to support pediatric cancer patients, children from vulnerable backgrounds, a picture book education program, and flood emergency relief efforts in Nepal.
The donation was made on Sept. 15 to celebrate his birthday. Felix gave 100 million won each to Samsung Medical Center and Seoul National University Children's Hospital, and 50 million won each to the nonprofit Books International and the Korean Committee for UNICEF.
The funds will support treatment costs for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients at Samsung Medical Center and care for children patients with vulnerable backgrounds at Seoul National University Children's Hospital. The contribution to Books International will fund the creation of picture books in local languages as part of a cultural education and awareness program. The donation to the Korean Committee for UNICEF will be used for emergency relief following recent floods in Nepal.
Felix has a long-standing record of giving. In 2024, he donated to a UNICEF program supporting child nutrition and clean water in Laos, as well as to a World Vision Korea initiative that provides breakfast to children facing food insecurity. On his birthday in 2025, he again supported pediatric care at Samsung Medical Center, World Vision's program for children serving as family caregiver, and the UNICEF Laos project.
He has also joined charitable efforts with his fellow Stray Kids members. In 2025, the group donated to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision Korea for wildfire recovery in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions, and to World Vision Hong Kong for fire recovery efforts in Hong Kong.
"I hope many children can spend their days filled with clear hope instead of worry," Felix said. "I sincerely wish to be a small but warm source of strength for the precious todays and tomorrows of these children."
Stray Kids is also keeping busy on stage. On Sept. 15 local time, the group will perform their second show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as part of "STRAYCITY," a new festival built around the group that is touring three cities across South America. The festival series comes alongside the group's ongoing world tour, "RUN IT."
