Actor Park Bo-gum said he has gained 11 kilograms since filming the hit historical drama "Love in the Moonlight" a decade ago. The reveal came during a special KBS2 program marking the drama's 10th anniversary, which aired on Sept. 16.

The show followed Park Bo-gum and his former castmates Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwak Dong-yeon on a trip to Hongcheon in Gangwon Province. The five actors reunited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Love in the Moonlight".

After playing in the river, the group sat down to share corn on the cob. When Jinyoung dug into his third piece and joked about how much he was eating, Park Bo-gum asked him how much he weighed.

Jinyoung said he was 66 kilograms. "You've taken really good care of yourself," Park Bo-gum said. The other actors reacted with surprise too, saying he looked "really thin" and that they had assumed he was in the 70-kilogram range.

Park Bo-gum then opened up about his own numbers. "I was around 65 kilograms when I was filming 'Love in the Moonlight'," he said, looking back on his early 20s. Asked what he weighs now, the actor said his weight keeps climbing, listing 73, 74, and 75 kilograms. He then corrected himself with a laugh. "Actually, it's 76 kilograms," he admitted, revealing he had gained 11 kilograms since the drama.

The moment drew laughs from the cast and highlighted how much has changed for the five actors since 2016, when the coming-of-age palace romance turned Park Bo-gum and Kim Yoo-jung into two of Korean television's biggest young stars. A decade on, the reunion offered fans a rare chance to see the group together again, trading stories over corn on a summer trip.
