KickFlip Prove Their 'Top Artist' Ambitions at ATA Festival Ahead of October Comeback

Boy group KickFlip confidently declared their ambition to become "Asia's Top Artist." On stage, they made their presence known with their solid performance skills, while off stage, they showed a different side of themselves through their free-spirited energy and colorful charms.

KickFlip (Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon) took the stage at the 2026 Asia Top Artist Festival (ATA Festival), held on September 20 at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul.

That day, KickFlip shared their thoughts on joining the festival and their determination for the performance, saying, "Thank you for giving us the opportunity to prove that we are ‘Asia's Top Artist.' We'll make sure to prove it properly on stage today." The members also conveyed the lively atmosphere at the venue, adding, "The atmosphere is great, and the weather is great too."

With their comeback set for October 6, KickFlip were asked about their new album and chose to offer hints through facial expressions and gestures rather than words. Kyehoon stepped forward, saying, "I'll show you with the perfect expression," before staring intensely into the camera and breathing heavily as a spoiler for the new song. The members jokingly reacted, "That was too much of a spoiler. Is that okay?" They then all copied the pose Kyehoon had made, further raising curiosity about the upcoming release.

Currently recruiting the second generation of their official fandom, WeFlip, the members named their live performance skills, aegyo and sexiness as some of their biggest "stan-attractor" points. After confidently saying, "We've been working really hard on our live performances," the members showed off a series of cute gestures and poses.

They also took turns appealing to audience members who were seeing KickFlip for the first time at the ATA Festival, each bringing out their own secret weapons which included "confidence," and "aegyo" while showing off the group's playful teamwork.

The members chose "Trick Point" as the song that best represents their free-spirited and mischievous personalities as they explained that "It's a song that our leader Kyehoon participated in writing and composing."

"It's a track where we can show a performance that is both unique and cool, so please look forward to it," he added. As they wrapped up, the group said, "We're making our comeback on October 6, so we hope you'll give it a listen. We also hope we can see you again next time."

Meanwhile, hosted by Hankyung Media Group including TenAsia and Hankyung.com, 'ATA Festival' is a comprehensive K-culture festival spanning music, K-food, K-beauty, and K-fashion, held over two days from September 19 to 20.
