CHUU Seeks Medical Attention After Sudden Health Issue: Doctors Advise Rest
Singer CHUU missed two scheduled university festivals after experiencing a sudden health issue. Her agency said doctors had advised her to rest and receive treatment.
CHUU's agency, CHU Company, announced the changes to her schedule through its official social media accounts on Nov. 4.
"CHUU experienced a sudden health issue today and visited a hospital for medical attention," the agency said. "Doctors advised that she needs rest and treatment."
As a result, CHUU was unable to attend two university festivals scheduled for that day.
"CHUU will unfortunately be unable to attend the 2026 Changshin University Palyong Daedongje and the 2026 Korea Nazarene University Student Festival scheduled for today," the agency said. "We ask for the understanding of fans who were looking forward to these events."
The agency also addressed CHUU's recovery and the possibility of changes to her upcoming schedule.
"We will put CHUU's health first and do our best to ensure she gets enough rest and treatment so she can return in good health," the agency said.
"Her upcoming schedule may be adjusted depending on her health condition. We ask for fans' understanding," it added.
CHUU released her single "I Love You" (Saranghamnida) on Oct. 7. She also met fans at her birthday party, "All My Favorite Things," held in Seoul on Oct. 20.
