KATSEYE's Manon Reappears on Weverse, But HYBE Says There's No Update on Her Return

KATSEYE's Manon has reached out to fans on Weverse DM, drawing attention as her hiatus from group activities approaches nine months.

On Nov. 6, screenshots of Manon sending a message through Weverse DM under the username "Peanutbutterlover02" began circulating on social media.

"hi friends," she wrote, keeping the message short without addressing her ongoing absence.

The brief greeting quickly caught fans' attention, with many welcoming her return to the platform. Manon had also posted an Instagram Story a day earlier, fueling speculation about whether she might be preparing to resume group activities.

However, HYBE told K-POPIT that Manon's recent social media activity should not necessarily be interpreted as a sign of her return.

"Her activities on Weverse and Instagram are personal, so it would be difficult to read any particular meaning into them," a HYBE representative said, adding that there are currently no new updates regarding her status.

Manon has been on a temporary hiatus since February 2026 due to health and well-being concerns. KATSEYE has continued its activities without her during that time.

While her latest message has raised hopes among fans, there is still no confirmed timeline for her return to group activities.
