SEVENTEEN's JEONGHAN X JOSHUA Unveil First Mini Album 'DREAMSCAPE'

SEVENTEEN members JEONGHAN and JOSHUA are teaming up as a new unit and will officially debut this October. The pair's first mini album, "DREAMSCAPE," is set to drop on October 19.

Pledis Entertainment, the HYBE Music Group label behind SEVENTEEN, confirmed the release on Tuesday. The unit, styled JEONGHAN X JOSHUA, will build the album around the idea of a dreamscape, drawing on two meanings of "dream": the unconscious visions that surface during sleep, and the ideals people chase in waking life. The label describes the record as a place where those two dreams collide and unfold without end.

A symbol motion clip released the same day set the tone. The video shows two letter "J"s, the English initials of both members, slowly overlapping into a single mark. The mood is hazy and mysterious, and the teaser quickly drew attention from global fans.

"'DREAMSCAPE' is an album that uses music to trace the process of breaking down the border between fantasy and reality, and expanding into a new world of sensation," Pledis Entertainment said in a statement. The label added that the two members will step into the role of dreamers and deliver "an audiovisual rapture" born from the strange beauty found where those two dreams meet.

Both JEONGHAN and JOSHUA are part of SEVENTEEN's vocal team. Fans have long paired them together as a "visual duo," pointing to their smooth vocal tones, careful emotional delivery, and matching on-stage presence.

Each member has also been active on his own recently. JEONGHAN drew strong reactions for his cover of "Bansanka," a hit song by Japanese singer-songwriter tuki., reinterpreting the track in his own style. JOSHUA has been building momentum with his new song "Baby Come Home," which he released in both Chinese and English versions.

The October debut positions the unit as one of the more closely watched sub-project launches inside SEVENTEEN's wider release calendar, extending a pattern in which the 13-member group continues to expand its footprint through smaller vocal, hip-hop, and performance line-ups.
