UNIS to End Group Activities After Two and a Half Years

K-POP girl group UNIS will conclude its activities as a full group after two and a half years. The group's agency, F&F Entertainment, announced on Sept. 23 that its exclusive contract with UNIS will end on Sept. 26, 2026.

F&F Entertainment said it made the decision after discussions with the members. "After thorough consultation, we have made the final decision to wrap up UNIS's official activities as a full group in line with the planned contract period," the agency said in a statement.

The agency thanked the members for their work and offered its support for their next steps. "Although our official activities together as UNIS are coming to an end, we will sincerely support the members as they take their next steps and continue to grow in their own paths," it added.

UNIS is an eight-member girl group formed through the SBS survival audition show "Universe Ticket". The group debuted in 2024 with a two-and-a-half-year activity period.

On Sept. 8, UNIS released a remake of "Sky Land, Star Land," a 1997 hit by female duo B.B. The song entered Melon's HOT100 after the group's music show promotions ended. Performances of UNIS's earlier song "SWICY" also drew renewed attention. The group will release its final song, "Milky Way," on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. KST.
