Song Kang, Lee Jun-young Reunite on Stage in tvN's 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas' Episode 9

Song Kang and Lee Jun-young are stepping back onto the same stage in tvN's drama "Four Hands, Two Sonatas." The ninth episode airs Friday at 9:10 p.m. KST and brings their characters back together under difficult circumstances.

In the episode, Kang Bi-o, played by Song Kang, works again with Choi Jung-yo, played by Lee Jun-young. Choi is the victim of a crime involving Kang's mother, Kang Ji-hye, played by Yoon Se-ah.

Kang Bi-o had spent nine years searching for Choi after his disappearance. When Choi finally returned, he revealed that he could no longer play the piano. He had been shot by his kidnapper during the abduction and later chose to become a conductor instead.

Kang asked his partner in the Czech Republic, Vogel, played by Ko Chang-seok, to look into who was behind the kidnapping nine years earlier. That is how Kang learned that his own mother had ordered it.

Choi was once the friend who taught Kang how to enjoy playing the piano. After Kang's mother's actions left Choi unable to play, the friendship between them changed.

Now the two are set to appear together as partners at a Korea Symphony event. Released stills show them seated side by side in front of reporters.

Rather than avoid the person his mother hurt, Kang chooses to prepare for the performance alongside him. Why the two decide to work together again, and how they put the performance together, will be revealed in the broadcast.

Episode 9 of "Four Hands, Two Sonatas" airs Friday at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN.
