Stray Kids Draw 270,000 Fans to STRAYCITY Festival Across Latin America

K-pop group Stray Kids drew a combined 270,000 fans to "STRAYCITY," a festival built around the group, across five shows in Latin America.

The run began in Bogotá, Colombia, on Sept. 9, continued in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Sept. 14 and 15, and ended with two shows in Mexico City on Sept. 25 and 26. At the final stop, Stray Kids performed songs including "MANIAC" and "Thunderous" as fans sang along.

Organized by JYP Entertainment and Live Nation, "STRAYCITY" brought the group's live show to a festival bearing its own name. Stray Kids had previously performed on stadium tours and headlined overseas festivals including Lollapalooza Paris, Lollapalooza Chicago and BST Hyde Park.

The group drew roughly 400,000 fans across eight stadium shows in five Latin American cities during its "dominATE" world tour last year. This September, it performed before about 100,000 people at Brazil's Rock in Rio, then drew another 270,000 to "STRAYCITY." The new festival gives Stray Kids another way to reach audiences in a region where it has already built a substantial live following.
