TXT's Soobin Has the House to Himself As Temporary Host of ‘Empty Zip Daesung’

TXT's Soobin is getting the keys to a new hosting gig.

The singer and leader will step in as the temporary host of 'Empty Zip Daesung,' a spinoff of BIGBANG member Daesung's YouTube talk show 'Zip Daesung.'

Rather than Daesung welcoming guests, the spinoff hands the "house" over to a temporary resident who takes over hosting duties and leads conversations with visiting guests.

A teaser released September 29 introduced Soobin as one of those residents, with the TXT leader making a playful gesture suggesting he was ready to give his heart to the program.

However, this won't be Soobin's first time leading a conversational web series as from 2024 to 2025, he hosted two seasons of Pixid's 'My Favorite's Favorite.' Here he sat down with different guests to discuss the people, interests and subjects they were particularly passionate about.

'Empty Zip Daesung' will give him another opportunity to lead a guest-centered format, this time while temporarily taking over a program normally associated with another idol host.

Soobin's first episode of 'Empty Zip Daesung' will be released October 2 at 6 p.m. KST.

The hosting appearance comes ahead of a busy November for TXT. The group will begin its fifth world tour, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <STEAL THE WIND>, with three concerts at Seoul's KSPO Dome from November 13 to 15 before returning with ninth mini album "PERFECT STORM" on November 16.
