NCT 127 Takes 'Blingy' to the Club With Two New Remixes

NCT 127's "Blingy" is getting a new club-focused treatment through SM Entertainment's dance music label ScreaM Records.

Released Sept. 30, "iScreaM Vol.41 : Blingy Remixes" features two reinterpretations of the track by Korean electronic producers rom&BAAWLA and 4URA. The release marks the 41st installment of ScreaM Records' "iScreaM" remix series.

rom&BAAWLA's version moves between grime, UK bass and jungle, reshaping the original through multiple drops and shifting rhythms. 4URA takes a heavier approach, pairing NCT 127's chanting chorus with hard-hitting synths and bass before moving from trap into jungle terror.

The original "Blingy" was released in August as the title track of NCT 127's seventh full-length album, also titled "Blingy." Built around distorted synths, heavy drums and a chant-driven chorus, the song incorporates elements of rage and dubstep into the group's hip-hop sound.

The remix single arrives as NCT 127 marks its 10th anniversary this year.
