Byun Yo-han, Tiffany Young Wed in Secret With Only Family, No Yoo Jae-suk

Actor Byun Yo-han says he married singer Tiffany Young in a small ceremony attended only by family. He shared the details on national television, giving fans their first real look at how the low-key wedding came together.

Byun appeared as a guest on the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible" which aired on Sept. 29. He joined actor Noh Jae-won on the episode, traveling around Incheon with hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.

Yoo Jae-suk opened by playfully complaining that he had been left out of the recent wedding. "Why didn't you invite me?" he asked Byeon. Yoo said he had sent a congratulatory text and asked to be invited, but never made it to the actual ceremony.

Byun explained that the event was intentionally kept small. "It was really just a quiet gathering with family," he said. He did not invite friends from the entertainment industry and held the wedding on a small scale with relatives only. Yoo Jae-suk nodded along, noting that private weddings have become more common in the Korean entertainment world lately.

The conversation moved to the honeymoon. Byun said he and his wife traveled to San Francisco and Hawaii after the wedding, taking a belated honeymoon in the United States.

Over a meal, his wedding ring became the next topic. Yoo Yeon-seok spotted the band on the fourth finger of Byun's left hand, and Byun smiled and said, "I'm a married man now, aren't I?"

Yoo Yeon-seok asked about the ring itself. "Is the brand Tiffany? Or is it Tiffany because your wife is Tiffany?" Byun answered, "That's right. It's Tiffany because she's Tiffany," showing his affection for his wife and playing along with the joke.

He also spoke about how life has changed since the wedding. Asked about married life, Byun said, "It's good. I think she's a better person than me, so I feel like I've changed a lot since getting married." Yoo Jae-suk agreed. "That's true. You can't help but change once you get married," he said.

Family came up later in the episode. When Noh Jae-won mentioned his musician sister, who is seven years younger than him, Byun shared that he also has a younger sister who is one year younger. "As we get older, it gets more comfortable. She feels like a friend now," he said.

The four then took on a game challenge for the show's "teum juin," or featured participant. They were eliminated in the second stage after using up their remaining chances. Noh Jae-won said he felt sorry for the participant and was in a bad mood, and Yoo Jae-suk added, "I feel really terrible," drawing laughs.
