Only 750 Fans Can Attend TWICE's 11th Anniversary Celebration
JYP Entertainment has announced plans for a fan party celebrating TWICE's 11th anniversary, but the event's limited capacity and eligibility requirements have drawn complaints from fans.
The agency announced through its official fan platform on Oct. 5 that "2026 TWICE FAN PARTY [ONCE UPON A THRI11]" will take place on Oct. 17. The event will be held in three sessions in Seoul, beginning at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Each session will accommodate 250 fans, bringing the total number of attendees to 750. Participants will be selected through a random draw rather than on a first-come, first-served basis, and each person may be selected for only one session.
Applications are limited to members of ONCE, TWICE's official fan club, who enrolled during its fifth-generation recruitment period in April 2025. Applicants must also be at least 15 years old. Newer fans, those who did not enroll during that period and fans under 15 are not eligible to apply.
The agency has confirmed only that the event will take place in Seoul. The exact venue will be disclosed individually to those selected. With less than two weeks remaining before the event, fans traveling from other parts of South Korea or overseas have raised concerns about the lack of advance information.
Complaints about the scale of TWICE's anniversary events are not new. Last year, the group held its 10th anniversary fan meeting, "2025 TWICE FANMEETING [10VE UNIVERSE]," at Korea University's Hwajeong Tiger Dome in Seoul. Some fans argued that the venue was too small for the size of the group's fandom, and organizers later opened additional restricted-view seats in response to demand.
This year's anniversary event will accommodate an even smaller number of fans. With only 750 spots available across all three sessions, concerns that came from last year's fan meeting have resurfaced.
TWICE debuted on Oct. 20, 2015, and will mark its 11th anniversary this month. The group is known for hits including "Like OOH-AHH," "CHEER UP," "FANCY," "What Is Love?" and "TT."
