TUIDE Turns Fan-Favorite 'Echo' Into New Music Show Run

TUIDE is extending promotions for its debut EP, "TUNE & PLAY," with a new round of music show performances for B-side "Echo."

The seven-member group will begin performing the track on Mnet's "M Countdown" on Oct. 8, followed by appearances on "Music Bank," "Show! Music Core" and "Inkigayo" through Oct. 11.

"Echo" was first performed before TUIDE's official debut during its "PLAYGROUND" preview event and has since drawn requests from fans for a music show stage.

The track combines deep house with uptempo classic house, using the idea of an echo to describe feelings that seem to travel in only one direction. Its lyrics contrast that with stereo sound as a metaphor for hoping those feelings will eventually be returned.

The additional promotions follow TUIDE's debut activities for title track "SUN KISS."

"TUNE & PLAY" has meanwhile remained on Billboard's World Albums chart for three weeks, while TUIDE previously reached No. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart dated Sept. 26.
