HYBE is taking Weverse Con Festival outside South Korea for the first time, with India set to host the event's first international edition.

The company announced on October 8 that Weverse Con Festival India will take place in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, 2027, in partnership with its local subsidiary, HYBE INDIA.

The two-day festival will bring together K-POP acts and Indian artists, marking a new step in HYBE's efforts to expand its presence in the Indian music market.

First launched in South Korea in 2023, Weverse Con Festival has traditionally brought together artists from different generations and genres, including established K-POP acts, newer groups, J-pop performers and indie bands.

Since then, the festival has expanded from 20 participating acts in its inaugural year to 30 in 2026, alongside the introduction of additional stages.

For its first overseas edition, HYBE plans to combine performances by K-POP artists with appearances from musicians active in India's domestic music scene. The event will also feature fan participation activities and programs introducing K-POP culture, bringing elements of the festival's existing format to a new audience.

The announcement comes as HYBE continues building its operations in India. Following the establishment of HYBE INDIA in 2025, the company has conducted auditions across 23 cities in India and abroad while also organizing fan-focused activities in the market.

Bringing Weverse Con Festival to New Delhi adds a live-event component to those efforts, creating an opportunity for HYBE to connect its existing K-POP audience with local artists and music fans.

HYBE described the festival as part of its "Multi-home, Multi-genre" strategy, which focuses on developing entertainment businesses across different markets and musical styles. Moreover, the company said the event is intended to bring Indian music and K-POP fandom culture together through performances and shared fan experiences.

The artist lineup for Weverse Con Festival India is expected to be announced later in October, with ticketing information and additional details to follow through HYBE INDIA's official Instagram account and the Weverse Zone community.

HYBE also confirmed that the annual South Korean edition of Weverse Con Festival will continue separately from the new India event.
