FLARE U Explains "LOVE O'CLOCK" and "BOYHOOD" Concepts in Photoshoot Video
FLARE U has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the jacket photoshoot for its second mini album LOVEHOOD, with members Chuei Li Yu and Kang Woojin explaining the ideas behind the album's two visual concepts.
FNC Entertainment released the video through the duo's official social media channels on October 19, featuring footage from the photoshoot alongside interviews with both members.
Kang Woojin introduced the LOVE O'CLOCK version, which uses 11:11 as a symbol of the moment romantic feelings begin.
The concept draws on the idea of thinking about someone when identical numbers appear on a clock, connecting that familiar moment to the beginning of love.
Chuei Li Yu, meanwhile, explained that the BOYHOOD version explores the different emotions experienced by a boy who is still learning how to love.
The photoshoot incorporates heart-shaped props and a variety of poses to express the excitement and uncertainty of those feelings.
The video also captures the members reviewing their photographs between takes, experimenting with props and interacting playfully with the camera.
Self-filmed segments offer a more casual look at the duo's chemistry, contrasting with their focused approach during the shoot.
During an interview, Chuei Li Yu was also asked about a recent moment when he felt love.
He described wanting to communicate with fans, known as YOUR, throughout his day, from waking up in the morning to going to sleep at night.
"I think love is having someone you think about often," he said, explaining that his desire to stay connected with fans reflects that feeling.
Released on October 14, LOVEHOOD follows a boy's emotional growth as he experiences love for the first time.
Its title track, "Bloom," combines melodic vocals with warm, retro-inspired synth-pop production.
The six-track mini album also includes "Hundred Nights," "False Alarm," "Madly in Love," "Window View" and "Never Ever."
FLARE U is currently promoting the release through music shows and other content.
