JEONGHAN X JOSHUA, the unit made up of SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Joshua, has reached the top of Japan's album charts. The duo's first mini album, "DREAMSCAPE," landed at No. 1 on Oricon's Daily Album Ranking.

Oricon, Japan's best-known music chart, released its latest chart on the 21st. The ranking, dated Oct. 20, placed "DREAMSCAPE" in the top spot.

The album also did well on Japanese streaming and download platforms. It hit No. 1 on the real-time Album Top 100 on LINE MUSIC, a popular Japanese music service. It then placed No. 2 on the service's daily chart dated the 20th. In Japan, the album also reached No. 1 on iTunes' Top Albums chart and No. 5 on Apple Music's Top Albums chart.

Back home in South Korea, the numbers were just as strong. "DREAMSCAPE" sold more than 650,000 copies on the 19th, its first day of release. That set the record for the biggest first-day sales by a K-pop unit album. The album also took No. 1 on the daily album chart from Hanteo Chart, which tracks physical album sales in South Korea. It entered the Worldwide iTunes Album chart at No. 6.

The title track, "12 o'clock," is catching on with listeners and on short-form video. After its release, the song entered major charts in South Korea and abroad. It also made Instagram's list of trending audio. A dance challenge video, shared before the song's official release, has passed 260 million total views.

The duo will appear on Korean music shows while also heading out on a solo concert run across six cities. That includes "JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING] - JAPAN," set for next month on the 21st and 22nd at Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan.

The second night will be streamed live in movie theaters in Japan. It will also stream in theaters in other major markets, including South Korea, the U.S., Singapore and Mexico. For a unit album, that kind of reach shows how far the SEVENTEEN name now travels, even when only two members take the stage.
