K-POP group KiiiKiii is finding a bigger audience on music charts outside Korea, especially in China. The group's third EP, "WhyKiiiKiii," appeared in the Most Popular Korean Album category of NetEase Cloud Music's 2026 third-quarter chart.

NetEase Cloud Music, a Chinese music streaming platform, released the quarterly results chart. KiiiKiii is made up of Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haeum and Kiya.

"WhyKiiiKiii" came out in August. The title plays on the sound of Waikiki, the resort destination, and ties it to the group's own name and identity.

The EP did well in China right after its release. It entered several charts on QQ Music, one after another, including the new song, popular songs, rising and Korea charts. On Kugou Music's Korea chart, it reached No. 1.

KiiiKiii has also been building its numbers in the West and at awards shows. In July, Billboard put the group's "404 (New Era)" at No. 1 on its "25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2026 (Staff Picks)" list. In August, KiiiKiii was named among the winners at the TME Live International Music Awards 2026, an awards show hosted by Tencent Music.

The group has been busy on stage as well. Earlier this month, from the 9th to the 11th, KiiiKiii performed in Macao. It took the halftime stage at the NBA China Games 2026, then performed at the fan event NBA House Macao 2026.

A streaming chart in China, a Billboard staff list in the U.S. and an NBA stage in Macao point in the same direction. KiiiKiii is no longer just a group to watch at home. It is building a following that crosses borders, one chart and one stage at a time.
