UNCHILD Is Back to Break the Rules With First Comeback in 7 Months
UNCHILD is preparing to return with new music on Nov. 5, marking the group's first comeback approximately seven months after its debut.
High Up Entertainment confirmed the plans on Oct. 22, saying the group is in the final stages of preparing its upcoming album. Further details, including the album's title and tracklist, have yet to be announced.
UNCHILD debuted in April with its first single, "We Are UNCHILD," introducing a rebellious concept built around challenging familiar K-POP conventions.
The group drew attention for its neon-colored styling, unconventional takes on school uniforms and a green frog symbol representing its identity.
Its debut title track, "UNCHILD," also highlighted the members' performance skills, featuring a demanding dance break they helped create themselves.
The members performed with handheld microphones during their debut promotions, placing an emphasis on live vocals alongside choreography.
With its upcoming release, UNCHILD is expected to continue exploring the bold, rule-breaking image introduced through its debut while developing its musical direction.
The group will begin rolling out promotional teasers ahead of its scheduled Nov. 5 comeback.
