TWICE's Jihyo Turns Heads With Daring New Photos After Leaving JYP
K-POP group TWICE's Jihyo has revealed a new set of profile photos following her departure from JYP Entertainment, where she spent 21 years as a trainee and artist.
On Oct. 22, EMITHAUS, the agency Jihyo recently established, shared the photos on its official Instagram account.
In one photo, Jihyo wears a black mini dress and sheer stockings, with her hair neatly tied up. Lying on the floor and looking directly into the camera, she strikes a confident pose.
Another photo captures a softer look, with Jihyo wearing a white T-shirt and letting her long, straight hair fall naturally. She also lifts her shirt slightly to reveal her waistline.
The black-and-white photos highlight a more mature side of the singer. Jihyo pairs an oversized jacket with a bra top, revealing her toned abs. In another shot, she wears a backless outfit that exposes much of her back.
The photos come a day after Jihyo announced her departure from JYP Entertainment. On Oct. 21, she shared a handwritten letter on Instagram, confirming that she had ended her 21-year relationship with the agency and established her own company, EMITHAUS.
"For me, independence is not so much a conclusion about the time behind me as a choice about how I want to live the time ahead," she wrote.
Jihyo also made it clear that her departure from JYP Entertainment does not mean she is leaving TWICE.
"This choice doesn't mean saying goodbye to the team I've been with for so long," she wrote. "TWICE is a precious part of my life that I could never leave out."
Jihyo joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee in 2005 and debuted as TWICE's leader in 2015. She made her solo debut in 2023 with her first EP, "ZONE."
