ILLIT Hits Half a Million Pre-Saves Before "BREAK EVEN" Even Drops

ILLIT's upcoming fifth mini album, BREAK EVEN, has reached No. 1 on Spotify's Pre-Save Top 10 chart, surpassing 500,000 pre-saves ahead of its October 26 release.

According to figures reported on October 23, the album secured the top position on the platform's pre-save ranking, reflecting growing interest in the group's upcoming comeback.

Pre-saving allows Spotify users to register interest in an upcoming release and have it added to their library when it becomes available. While the figure does not represent actual streams or album sales, it offers an early indication of listener anticipation.

According to the group's agency, pre-saves have increased by approximately 100,000 every six days since the album's release date was announced on September 21.

Interest has also extended to the album's title track, "You're Under Arrest," which ILLIT performed for the first time during its ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥' ENCORE in KOREA concerts on October 17 and 18.

A performance video subsequently uploaded to the group's official YouTube channel entered the platform's daily trending music video charts in 13 countries and regions, including South Korea, the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom, on October 22.

The song's preview audio has also gained traction on Instagram, reaching No. 5 on the platform's Reels Trending Audio chart on October 22. Its whistle-driven melody has inspired a dance challenge featuring a hand gesture resembling a finger gun, with fans participating across social media.

The activity comes ahead of the song's official release, with ILLIT continuing to introduce its choreography and musical concept through concert performances and short-form content.

The group is scheduled to release the first music video teaser for "You're Under Arrest" on October 23, followed by a second teaser on October 25.

ILLIT's fifth mini album, "BREAK EVEN," and the full music video for its title track will be released on October 26 at 6 p.m. KST.
