P1Harmony Is Making Noise on Both Sides of the Pacific Ahead of "BLOW UP"
P1Harmony is preparing for its November comeback following a series of activities that have brought the group attention both internationally and in South Korea, from a major Los Angeles festival appearance to member Intak's viral cover of Rain's "Hip Song."
The six-member group will release its tenth mini album, "BLOW UP," on November 6, approximately eight months after its previous release, "UNIQUE."
The upcoming album follows a superhero storyline in which P1Harmony returns for one final mission, bringing a long-running narrative to a close.Beyond the comeback concept, the group has continued expanding its presence through album sales, touring and performances.
P1Harmony first entered the Billboard 200 in 2023 with its sixth mini album, "HARMONY : ALL IN." Its latest release, "UNIQUE," subsequently reached No. 4 on the chart, marking the group's highest position to date.
The album also surpassed 500,000 copies in first-week sales in South Korea, according to the agency.
On the touring front, P1Harmony completed its third world tour, 'P1ustage H : MOST WANTED,' with a finale in Seoul in March. The tour covered Asia, Oceania, North America, Latin America and Europe, including arena performances across its North American leg.
More recently, the group headlined the first day of 82WORLD: LA, held at Los Angeles State Historic Park on October 17. The members also appeared on FOX11's morning program 'Good Day LA,' where they discussed their festival appearance and upcoming album.
Meanwhile, P1Harmony has attracted attention domestically through activities beyond its regular music releases. Intak's cover of Rain's "Hip Song," originally performed at a fan meeting, circulated widely online and introduced the member to audiences who were less familiar with the group.
The attention subsequently led to a dance challenge collaboration with Rain himself and a television music show appearance connected to the performance.
P1Harmony also made its first appearance at a university festival, encouraging audience participation by teaching concertgoers key parts of its choreography and leading singalongs.
Together, these activities have given the group additional exposure ahead of "BLOW UP," particularly as it seeks to build on its existing international audience while reaching more listeners at home.
P1Harmony's tenth mini album, "BLOW UP," will be released on November 6.
