ZEROBASEONE's EMP Takes Part in Songwriting for New Single

EMP, a unit of K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE, has revealed the tracklist for its upcoming digital single, "OFF script."

The duo, consisting of Seok Matthew and Park Gun Wook, shared the tracklist through ZEROBASEONE's official social media accounts on Oct. 28.

The single features three songs: the title track "RUN" (with Dynamic Duo), "AFTERTASTE" (with JUNNY) and "MADE YOU LOOK."

"OFF script" centers on breaking away from a predetermined path and expressing the members' individual musical identities. Seok Matthew and Park participated in writing lyrics and composing music for the single, bringing their own ideas and creative styles into the project. The songs carry a message about trusting oneself and moving forward without being confined by expectations.

"RUN" combines hip-hop with drum and bass, with production by Padi. The track brings together the powerful rap styles of Dynamic Duo and EMP. Dynamic Duo members Gaeko and Choiza also contributed to the songwriting and composition alongside Seok Matthew and Park.

"AFTERTASTE" is a hip-hop track built around a distinctive guitar riff and groovy beat, incorporating elements of grime and Latin music. Singer JUNNY lends his vocals to the song.

The final track, "MADE YOU LOOK," blends dreamy R&B and hip-hop with catchy melodies. It captures the duo's confidence in their ability to command attention.

Ahead of the release, EMP will host a listening event titled "SOUND SEMINAR" on Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. KST at CJ azit Gwangheungchang in Seoul's Mapo district. Fans will get an early preview of the new music, while the members will share stories behind the songs.

EMP will pre-release "RUN," featuring Dynamic Duo, along with its music video on Nov. 4. The full digital single, "OFF script," will arrive on major streaming platforms on Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. KST.
