ITZY's Chaeryeong Teases Solo Debut "Lovesick" With Dating Show-Inspired Content
ITZY's Chaeryeong has unveiled a new set of concept photos for her upcoming solo debut, "Lovesick," continuing a promotional campaign that includes a dating show-inspired video featuring her fellow group members.
JYP Entertainment released seven additional concept images through ITZY's official social media channels at midnight KST on October 28, following the first set on October 26.
The new photos show Chaeryeong experimenting with contrasting visual styles, from warm and cool lighting to silver wing accessories and selfie-inspired compositions.
Other images feature the singer under blue lighting, offering a different atmosphere as she prepares to introduce her individual musical identity.
The concept photos follow a trailer presented in the style of a book, alongside a series of short-form promotional videos titled "Lovesignal."
Inspired by popular Korean dating reality shows, the videos feature Chaeryeong alongside ITZY members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin and Yuna, bringing the group's chemistry into her solo debut preparations. The campaign draws on Chaeryeong's romantic concept while introducing a playful element to the album's promotional rollout.
Chaeryeong has previously showcased her individual performance style through solo cover stages at ITZY fan meetings, including performances of Gain's "Bloom" and Sunmi's "Full Moon."
Her upcoming release will mark her official debut as a solo artist.
Chaeryeong's first mini album, "Lovesick," and its title track of the same name will be released on November 9 at 6 p.m. KST.
She will also host a countdown livestream at 5 p.m. KST, one hour before the album's release.
