NewJeans Marks Double Milestone Amid Hiatus: Bunnies Turn 4, "Zero" Hits 100M Streams
K-pop girl group NewJeans has added another song to its list of 100 million-stream hits on Spotify.
According to Spotify figures released on Oct. 29, the group's "Zero" had accumulated 100,012,208 streams as of Oct. 27, becoming its 17th song to surpass 100 million plays on the platform.
NewJeans released "Zero" in April 2023 as a promotional single in collaboration with Coke Studio, Coca-Cola's music platform. The track blends pop and R&B with Jersey club rhythms, while its chorus reworks a familiar Korean childhood chant.
The accompanying music video follows the members as they come from different worlds, meet and build memories together. The milestone marks another achievement for NewJeans, showing that even a song created for a brand partnership can reach 100 million streams.
Across its catalog, NewJeans has surpassed 8.2 billion combined streams on Spotify. "Ditto," "OMG" and "Super Shy" have each topped 900 million streams, while "Hype Boy" has passed 800 million.
"New Jeans" and "Attention" have each surpassed 500 million streams, followed by "ETA" with more than 400 million. "Cookie," "How Sweet," "Hurt" and "Cool With You" have each exceeded 300 million.
"Supernatural" and "ASAP" have each topped 200 million streams, while "Get Up," "Bubble Gum" and "Right Now" have passed 100 million. With "Zero" joining the list, NewJeans now has 17 songs with at least 100 million streams.
Meanwhile, NewJeans marked the fourth anniversary of its official fandom, Bunnies, on Oct. 29. The group's official Instagram account shared new photos of Hanni, Hyein, Minji and Haerin to celebrate the occasion.
Questions remain over the group's future activities following its exclusive contract dispute with ADOR. The returns of Haerin, Hyein and Hanni have been confirmed, while Minji remains in discussions with the agency about her future activities.
Danielle left the group after ADOR notified her in Dec. 2025 that her exclusive contract had been terminated.
No schedule has been announced for a new NewJeans album or the resumption of group activities.
