NCT's TEN Addresses Dating Rumors: "I'd Have to Be Superman"
K-POP group NCT member TEN has publicly denied recent dating rumors, firmly stating that he is single.
TEN addressed the rumors during his "TEN US SHOWCASE TOUR" concert in Houston on Oct. 28 (local time).
"I know some strange stories have been going around online lately," TEN said. "I want to make it clear in front of all of you today. I'm completely single. I'm not dating anyone right now."
He explained that he had learned about the rumors through his staff before joking about his busy schedule.
"If I were dating someone, I'd have to be Superman," he said. "You know how busy my schedule is, right?"
The remarks came after rumors linking TEN to a woman circulated on social media. By addressing the speculation directly onstage, the singer made clear that he is not in a relationship.
TEN debuted as a member of NCT U in 2016 and has since been active in NCT and WayV.
His exclusive contract with SM Entertainment ended on April 8. At the time, the agency said it would continue coordinating with TEN regarding his participation in future NCT and WayV group activities.
In July, TEN co-founded the creative company ILLIMNT and began pursuing independent solo projects. He released his single "OUTWEST" on Sept. 4.
TEN is currently touring 14 cities across the United States. The tour kicked off in Seattle on Oct. 17 and includes stops in Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore and Boston before wrapping up in New York on Nov. 10.
