Former NewJeans member Danielle has shared a self-written song on Bunnies Day, the anniversary of the group's fandom name announcement, as her legal dispute with ADOR continues.

Danielle uploaded a 94-second video of herself performing "Stay" to her YouTube channel at midnight on Oct. 29. She wrote and composed the song, while Shin Dongle (DEE), who previously directed NewJeans' music videos for "Hype Boy" and "Supernatural," edited the video.

Accompanied by acoustic guitar, Danielle sings about pain, relationships that have changed and wanting to turn back time. The lyrics include lines about trying to wash away pain when no one reaches out and fighting to make things right again. Danielle has not explained whether the song is connected to her ongoing legal dispute.

The release coincided with the fourth anniversary of NewJeans announcing its official fandom name, Bunnies. The group first revealed the name on Oct. 29, 2022, marking its 100th day since debut.

Danielle is currently involved in a lawsuit with ADOR over approximately 33 billion won in contractual penalties and damages. The agency terminated her contract in December 2025, following a court ruling that upheld the validity of NewJeans' exclusive contracts.

"Stay" is Danielle's first publicly released original song since ADOR notified her of the contract termination.
