TXT's Huening Kai Hopes New Cover Helps Cats Find Their Forever Homes

TXT's Huening Kai is drawing attention to animal adoption through a new fashion magazine cover featuring a cat still waiting to find a permanent home.

On November 2, ELLE Korea unveiled the cover through its official social media channels as part of a special project celebrating the magazine's 34th anniversary.

The project features eight groups of celebrities photographed alongside companion animals, with Huening Kai appearing alongside a cat currently awaiting adoption. In the released image, the singer and the cat sit side by side, looking in the same direction.

Rather than focusing solely on the fashion shoot, Huening Kai used the accompanying interview to encourage readers to remember animals that have yet to find families. "I hope people will remember that there are many cats who deserve to be loved but still haven't found a family," he said.

His message highlights the circumstances of cats awaiting adoption and encourages greater public awareness of animals in need of homes.

Meanwhile, Huening Kai is preparing for TXT's upcoming comeback with the group's ninth mini album, "PERFECT STORM," scheduled for release on November 16 at 6 p.m. KST.

The album's title track, "Angel Bite," is described as a discoplug song combining game-inspired sounds with rough yet wistful melodies.

Through the track, TXT will explore the desire to remain alongside someone despite the difficulties and imperfections of youth.
