Korean rapper Yang Hong-won has unfollowed his wife, Won Hyun-ju, on Instagram and deleted the photos from their wedding. The moves came less than a month after cheating allegations against the rapper surfaced, and they have led to speculation online that the couple's marriage is in trouble.

As of Nov. 3, the wedding photos Yang posted after the couple's ceremony on Oct. 18 of last month could no longer be found on his account. Won had already deleted all of her earlier posts, including her wedding photos, shortly after the allegations against Yang first came out.

The two have also unfollowed each other on social media. Once word spread that both had removed their wedding photos and cut ties online, rumors of a rift and even a breakup began circulating. Neither Yang nor Won has made an official statement.

The couple dated for a long time before legally registering their marriage in 2023. In South Korea, couples become legally married by filing a marriage registration, and some hold a wedding ceremony much later. Won gave birth to their daughter in November 2024. The pair then held their wedding on the Oct. 18 of last month, about three years after becoming legally married.

Five days later, on Oct. 23, allegations emerged that Yang had an inappropriate relationship with another woman. A person identified only as A, who said they were an acquaintance of Yang, claimed the rapper had gone to a motel with a woman. A also released phone call recordings and social media messages as supporting evidence.

As the controversy grew, Yang's agency, AP Alchemy, confirmed that he had gone to a motel with the woman. But the agency denied that he cheated. According to AP Alchemy, Yang was drunk at the time, and nothing romantic or physical happened in the motel room.

The agency also said it was taking legal action against A. AP Alchemy claimed that A tried to blackmail Yang for money and, after being turned down, spread false claims about him. The agency said it filed a criminal complaint against A on charges of extortion, violating South Korea's Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation by spreading false information.

A later appeared on a YouTube channel to explain why they went public. A said the allegations came out of hurt feelings after trying to borrow money from Yang. During the appearance, A also apologized to both Yang and Won.

For now, the couple's silence leaves fans reading the signs on their social media accounts. The episode shows how, in Korea's entertainment world, an unfollow or a deleted post can turn into headline news before anyone says a word.
