KATSEYE members Daniela and Megan have withdrawn from scheduled VIP activities in Boston due to illness, prompting mixed reactions from fans concerned about both the members' health and the reduced experience offered to paying attendees.

Ahead of the group's October 28 "WILDWORLD TOUR" concert at TD Garden, KATSEYE's Weverse page announced that the two members would not participate in the VIP group photo, soundcheck or Q&A session.

"We are very sorry to inform you that due to illness, Daniela and Megan were unable to attend today's VIP Group Photo and will not be participating in the scheduled Soundcheck and Q&A session for the Boston show," the notice stated.

The announcement added that both members were resting and receiving necessary care. No further details about their conditions were disclosed.

The news quickly prompted discussion among fans, known as EYEKONS, particularly those who had purchased VIP packages expecting opportunities to interact with the six-member group.

KATSEYE's official "EYEKONS WILD EXPERIENCE" package includes priority access to a pre-show soundcheck and Q&A, a group photograph with the group, exclusive merchandise and other benefits.

The package, advertised separately from concert admission, lists group photographs involving approximately 10 to 12 fans per photo.

With Daniela and Megan absent, some fans questioned whether the remaining experience justified the price paid, especially amid complaints that the group photo featured only two members.

"The concept of paying for a vip ticket for a 6 member group only to see 4 of them and then having your vip photo with only 2 of them," one social media user wrote. Another called for refunds, arguing that the experience had changed substantially from what ticket holders originally expected.

"They better be refunding every single VIP package," the user wrote, adding that the remaining members should be allowed to rest rather than continue with the activities.

The comments reflect frustration over the difference between the advertised VIP experience and what some attendees reported receiving.

The official package terms state that purchases are final and generally nonrefundable. At the time of the announcement, no specific refund or compensation arrangement for the Boston changes had been confirmed.

The situation has also raised questions about how organizers should handle premium fan experiences when illness prevents members from participating.Unlike a standard concert ticket, a VIP package is often purchased specifically for opportunities to interact with artists through photographs, soundchecks or Q&A sessions.

For some fans, the chance to meet particular members may be the main reason for purchasing the upgrade. When those activities proceed with fewer members than advertised, the experience can differ considerably from what attendees anticipated, even when the absences are unavoidable.

At the same time, many fans emphasized that the members' health should take priority over fulfilling scheduled promotional commitments.

One social media user expressed concern about the group's workload, writing, "i love the girls, but it gets to a point where they desperately need a break or at least a reset."

The six-member group launched its "WILDWORLD TOUR" in Dublin on September 1, with performances scheduled across Europe and North America.

The North American leg began in Miami on October 13 and has included stops in Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, D.C., and New York before arriving in Boston. The group is scheduled to continue to Montreal on October 30, followed by additional Canadian and U.S. dates throughout November.

While the extensive itinerary has prompted some fans to question whether the members are receiving sufficient rest, there is no confirmed evidence linking Daniela and Megan's illnesses directly to the tour schedule.

Nevertheless, their absence from the Boston VIP activities has brought renewed attention to the pressures of maintaining a demanding concert schedule while also fulfilling additional fan engagement commitments.

As the "WILDWORLD TOUR" continues, the Boston incident highlights the challenges of balancing artist well-being with the commercial expectations surrounding premium concert packages.

For EYEKONS, the discussion has extended beyond disappointment over missed interactions to a wider concern about whether the group's demanding schedule can be maintained without placing additional pressure on its members.
