Singer and actor Park Yoo-chun has drawn criticism over the high ticket price for his upcoming dinner show in Osaka, Japan, next February. Including shipping and handling fees, attending the event will cost around $339, 53,500 yen.

According to Park's official Japanese fan club, YUNIVERSE, he will hold "PARK YUCHUN Dinner Show 2027" on Feb. 13, 2027, at the Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. The dinner show series is now in its fourth year, but this will be its first time being held in Osaka.

Two shows are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost about $329, 52,000 yen each, with reserved seats for all attendees. An additional $9.50, 1,500 yen, in shipping and handling fees brings the total to $339, 53,500 yen.

All attendees will have the opportunity to take a commemorative photo with Park. They will also receive a gift from the singer, although he will not hand it to the attendees personally.

Tickets are available only to paid members of his official fan club, YUNIVERSE. Each person can apply for up to two tickets. Successful applicants will be selected through a lottery, and payment must be made by bank transfer.

The first application period opened on Nov. 4 and will be open until Nov. 8. Successful applicants will be notified by email starting Nov. 11.

Park is also planning a dinner show in Tokyo, although the date has yet to be finalized. Applications for the Tokyo event are expected to open in mid-to-late November.

Park debuted in 2003 as a member of TVXQ and later performed with JYJ. In 2019, he received a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, for using methamphetamine. He had denied the allegations and announced his retirement from the entertainment industry, but later resumed his career. In recent years, he has focused mainly on activities in Japan.

Park has also faced legal disputes with his former agency and controversy over unpaid taxes. In 2023, he was named on South Korea's National Tax Service list of high-value, habitual tax delinquents, with approximately 400 million won in unpaid taxes.

In late June, Park's Japanese agency said that all lawsuits involving him in South Korea had concluded and that he planned to pay his outstanding taxes in full by the end of the year. Logbook, his former agency, disputed the claim by saying their exclusive contract dispute remained unresolved.
