MAMAMOO's Solar Holds First Solo Busking Show in Seoul
MAMAMOO member Solar is taking her music to the street. She is holding her first solo busking performance since her debut. Busking is the Korean term for an open-air street show.
Solar takes the stage on the 6th at 6 p.m. KST at Star Plaza. The outdoor space sits in front of the main entrance of U-PLEX at the Hyundai Department Store in Seoul's Sinchon area. The show celebrates the release of her new song, "To My 20s (Harmonica. Harim)" (Naui 20daeege).
This is the first time Solar has busked as a solo artist. She plans to meet the audience up close, sing for them and talk with them.
The show will also mark the first live performance of the new song. The track comes out on the 12th, so fans at the show will hear it before its official release. The song looks back on the 20s you have already lived through and offers comfort.
"To My 20s (Harmonica. Harim)" is Solar's first solo single released in Korea in about one year and seven months. Her last was "WANT," her second single, which came out in April of last year.
Singer-songwriter Harim plays harmonica on the track. The song is built around Solar's vocals paired with Harim's harmonica.
The single arrives on music platforms on the 12th at 6 p.m. KST. For the fans who show up in Sinchon, though, the song will be out first in the open air.
