Sullyoon (설윤)

When JYP Entertainment introduced Sullyoon as the fourth member of its incoming group NMIXX in September 2021, it did so through a single cover video — a rendition of Sunmi's "Full Moon" that drew immediate attention to her vocals and presence before a debut had even been announced. She has since established herself as a member of one of JYP's most creatively restless acts, and has begun extending her work beyond the group format.

Debut and background

Born Seol Yoon A on January 26, 2004, Sullyoon trained under JYP Entertainment before her reveal ahead of NMIXX's launch. She was also previously a member of AKIZ, where she served as a vocalist — an early credit that pointed toward the vocal work she would continue in a larger arena. NMIXX debuted in February 2022, positioning itself as a group willing to work across genres within a single track, and Sullyoon has been part of that ensemble from the beginning.

Beyond the group

In early 2026, Sullyoon's activity stepped noticeably outside the NMIXX framework. Following his discharge from military service, singer-songwriter Park Jae-jung connected with her for a collaborative project, and the two released the duet "Just As It Is Now" on February 25, 2026. The pairing drew attention partly for its contrast — a solo artist returning from a hiatus meeting a fourth-year group member — and the release was promoted as a gift to fans of both acts. Sullyoon and fellow NMIXX member Bae appeared on the YouTube channel *Kkon Dae-hee* around that time as part of promotional activity for new music, where the session circulated widely enough to generate its own coverage.
