골든차일드

Formed under Woollim Entertainment in 2017, Golden Child built their identity around polished dance-pop craftsmanship and a notably large ensemble lineup — eleven members whose combined vocal and performance depth gave the group a distinctive weight within their label's roster. Their representative work "Goldenness", released in 2018, distilled that approach into a single that remained central to how the group presented themselves to new audiences.

Debut and early releases

Golden Child launched in 2017 with their debut extended play Gol-Cha!, establishing the group's footing in a crowded mid-generation K-pop landscape. Woollim Entertainment, better known at the time as the home of Infinite and Lovelyz, positioned the eleven-member act as a continuation of the label's melodically grounded, performance-focused ethos. Two further EPs followed in 2018 — *Miracle* and *Wish* — alongside the single "Goldenness," which consolidated the group's early sound and became their most closely associated title.

Into full-length work

The group moved into album-length releases with Re-boot in 2019, a shift that signaled a more developed artistic statement after two years of EP releases. A second full-length, *Without You*, followed in 2020 alongside the EP *Take a Leap*, giving that year an unusually dense release schedule. The 2021 EP Yes. and full album Game Changer rounded out the active discography on record, with *Game Changer* representing the group's most recent studio album in the available catalog.

Later activity

In early 2026, former member Lee Dae-yeol — known within the group as Daeyeol — was reported to be returning to the music scene as a solo artist, approximately four years and five months after his departure from the group. The development marked a notable transition point for one of the act's founding figures, and drew attention from the group's established fanbase.
