Epik High Tablo's Daughter Haru Lee Writes RIIZE's New Title Track

The spotlight has recently turned to Haru Lee, the daughter of Epik High member Tablo, after she was credited as the sole lyricist for RIIZE's upcoming title track, "Do Your Dance."

According to the credits for RIIZE's second EP "II," set for release on June 15, Haru Lee is listed as the only lyricist for the title track. The credit quickly drew attention online, with many fans expressing surprise that the teenager had landed such a high-profile songwriting role.

As speculation grew, Tablo addressed the matter directly through Epik High's fan communication platform on Monday. When a fan commented that it was impressive Haru had received a solo lyric credit and mentioned reports that SM Entertainment uses blind evaluations when selecting songs and lyrics, Tablo responded, "Yes, that's how it was selected."

His brief reply drew attention because it suggested Haru's lyrics were chosen through the company's review process rather than through personal connections. Fans reacted positively, with many praising her talent and noting that the achievement appeared to have been earned on her own.

This is not Haru's first songwriting credit. In November 2025, she co-wrote K-POP group KiiiKiii's "To Me From Me" with her father, a warm and reflective track that received positive responses from listeners. She has also worked alongside Tablo on subtitle translations for the Canadian comedy film "Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie."

Haru first became known to the public through the reality show "The Return of Superman," where viewers watched her grow up as Tablo's energetic young daughter. More than a decade later, she is now beginning to establish herself as a creative talent in her own right.

Meanwhile, RIIZE will release its second EP "II" on June 15. Along with title track "Do Your Dance," the six-track album includes "SOAR," "D-D-Done," "Overdrive," "Like a Bomb" and "In a Loop."
