K-POP girl group ILLIT is gaining ground at home and overseas, with new and older songs working together to grow both its fanbase and its mainstream reach.

According to K-POPiT BOARD, a K-pop analytics index released Tuesday, ILLIT topped the domestic power index with 69.2 points and the global power index with 64.6 points. The power index combines results from music charts, social media activity, and news coverage worldwide.

ILLIT's latest track "It's Me" hit No. 3 on Melon and No. 3 on YouTube KR, charting strongly across major Korean platforms at the same time. Its 2024 hit "Magnetic" is still on Spotify KR at No. 41, giving the group a mix of new and older songs driving streams together. That combined effect helped push the group's Spotify streaming change rate to 100.0%.

The group's non-fandom score, which tracks listeners outside the core fanbase, also jumped. Both the domestic and global figures rose 289%. ILLIT's fandom health index stayed high at 89.1 points, showing a balance between fan-driven sales and broad chart performance.

The group's lead position in both markets stands out. ILLIT's YouTube Global view change rate rose 10.4%, a sign that the "It's Me" music video is spreading outside Korea. Its global momentum score of 73.3 ranked at the top of the chart, showing growth in Korea and abroad at the same time.

A recent project with LE SSERAFIM and KATSEYE also helped. The three groups, all signed to labels under HYBE, released the collaboration single "ICONIC BY MISTAKE." According to Spotify charts dated June 14, the song debuted at No. 29 on the Daily Top Songs Global chart on its release day, June 12. It pulled in more than 3.1 million streams in a single day. The buzz around the project before its release carried through to the charts.

ILLIT handled the chorus on the track and pushed into a sharper, bolder sound. The group stepped away from the dreamy, bright image it built earlier and showed a stronger side, which fans welcomed.

ILLIT will carry that momentum into Japan. The group releases its second Japanese single, "I Got Your Back," on July 26.
