BOYNEXTDOOR Tops Oricon Weekly Album Chart With 'HOME'
BOYNEXTDOOR has earned another milestone in Japan, topping Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking with its first full-length album "HOME."
According to Oricon on June 16, "HOME" sold approximately 159,000 copies during its first week of release in Japan, debuting at No. 1 on the chart. The achievement marks the group's fourth album to reach the top spot on the ranking, following "HOW?," "19.99," and "No Genre."
Released as BOYNEXTDOOR's first studio album, "HOME" reflects the members' personal experiences and emotions from their trainee days all the way through their current career. The project also marks the first time all six members participated in the songwriting process across the album.
Before this achievement, BOYNEXTDOOR had already started to have a predominantly strong presence within the Japanese market. Back in November of 2025, the group won the rookie of the year award at the 67th Japan Record Awards which is deemed to be one of the most prestigious award shows within the country. Furthermore, their previous Japanese tour 'BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' IN JAPAN' attracted a lot of audiences as it was conducted over 13 shows across six cities in Japan and sold out all dates.
Their recent album has also posted strong results in South Korea. According to Hanteo Chart, "HOME" sold 1,085,715 copies during its first week of release, becoming BOYNEXTDOOR's fourth consecutive million-selling album. The release additionally topped Apple Music Korea's Popular Albums chart from June 9 to 14.
The title track "VIRAL" has also continued to gain momentum on domestic streaming platforms. After debuting at No. 68 on Melon's daily chart on its release day, the song climbed to No. 33 by June 14 expressing growth. Furthermore, the track also entered Melon's weekly chart for June 8–14 at No. 50 and reached No. 7 on Apple Music Korea's Top 100 chart.
BOYNEXTDOOR is scheduled to perform at the 35th Seoul Music Awards on June 20 at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
