WAYF BOYS Makes Japan Debut With Special Performances and Fan Interactions

WAYF BOYS has completed its first official performance in Japan, taking the stage at the "OTRN 'Sound Lab'" event in Yokohama.

The group appeared on the event's second-day lineup at Yokohama Buntai, marking its first opportunity to perform for Japanese fans.

The live event focuses on performances and musical experiences designed specifically for audiences attending in person.

During the show, WAYF BOYS performed its own songs and interacted with the crowd in Japanese, with members preparing greetings and remarks ahead of the event.

Member Junmyeong drew particular attention for his fluent Japanese, speaking comfortably with fans throughout the performance.

The group also included a special segment in which members performed short excerpts from songs they had personally selected.

Junmyeong chose "Dry Flower," a popular track by Japanese singer-songwriter Yuuri, singing part of the chorus for the audience.

Other members joined in conversations with fans, responding to their reactions between performances.

The Yokohama appearance follows WAYF BOYS' participation in "KOOM LIVE 2026" in New York earlier this year.

With performances in both the United States and Japan, the group is continuing to expand its activities beyond South Korea.
