TWICE's Sana Speaks Out After Viral Outfit Incident

TWICE's Sana has spoken out about a wardrobe mishap that drew attention online after a recent event in Seoul.

Sana addressed the incident on Thursday through a fan communication platform. "During the fitting, I wore it so that the front wouldn't open in the middle, but when I was going in I was flustered and didn't check the mirror," she wrote. "I only realized it had opened after I got back to the waiting room."

She added that the response online had weighed on her. "I was already upset that I couldn't go out looking the way I did at the fitting, and all the talk has made it worse," she said.

Sana had attended the event with her TWICE members at a cafe in Seoul's Jongno district. She arrived in a white floral-print dress. The front of the dress opened in a way that differed from the intended styling, leading to speculation online that her undergarment had been exposed.

The dress is from a South Korean brand and retails for around 580,000 won. The lookbook model wears the piece with the hem lifted to show shorts underneath, which led some to wonder whether the styling had been intentional. Sana's own explanation that it was an accident appears to have settled the discussion.
