South Korean actor Kim Moo-yul is riding an unprecedented wave of global popularity following the explosive release of the new Netflix original series "Teach You a Lesson." Reflecting the drama's meteoric rise on worldwide streaming charts, Kim's social media following has jumped more than fivefold in just two weeks.

As of Friday morning, Kim's official social media account surpassed 1.149 million followers. Prior to the show's highly anticipated premiere, his follower count had maintained a steady baseline of roughly 200,000. Within 14 days, that figure expanded exponentially, easily clearing the coveted 1 million milestone.

This digital surge tracks directly with the series' powerhouse performance on global streaming platforms. Released worldwide on June 5, "Teach You a Lesson" currently holds the No. 1 position on Netflix's Top 10 TV series chart in South Korea. Furthermore, the hard-hitting action drama topped Netflix's official global Top 10 Non-English Television chart and secured the absolute No. 1 spot in the worldwide TV category on streaming analytics platform FlixPatrol.
