NCT 127 is set for a major comeback this summer, with a new full-length album arriving ahead of the group's fifth tour.

SM Entertainment confirmed to K-POPIT on July 7 that NCT 127 will release its seventh full-length album on Aug. 24. The group will then kick off its fifth world tour, "NEO CITY : THE REDLINE," with a three-night concert at Seoul's KSPO DOME from Sept. 18 to 20.

The comeback marks NCT 127's first group album in about two years, following its sixth studio album, Walk, which was released in July 2024.

The new album will feature five members: Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan. Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently completing their mandatory military service and will not participate in this release.

The comeback comes during a milestone year for NCT 127, which debuted on July 7, 2016, and is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Group activities had slowed over the past two years as members enlisted one after another, with Taeyong completing his military service in December 2025 and Jaehyun being discharged in May.

After opening in Seoul, the "NEO CITY : THE REDLINE" tour will continue across Asia with stops in Jakarta on Oct. 3, Hong Kong on Oct. 10 and 11, Singapore on Oct. 18, Bangkok on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, and Taipei on Jan. 2, 2027.

Known for its signature "Neo" concept, NCT 127's previous album, Walk, became the group's seventh consecutive million-selling release, raising expectations for its return.
